District Statement Regarding EI Associates Website Posting
The West Perry School District Board of Education and administration want to address information on EI Associates' website regarding the capital improvements project.
No final decision has been made to move forward with this project. The posting on the vendor's website was not authorized or approved by the district and does not reflect the district's position or any board decision. We understand this may have caused confusion and concern among community members about the decision-making process, and we want to provide clarity.
The district is committed to a deliberate, phased approach that includes pausing to review and evaluate all available information before proceeding to each next stage. We are currently between the schematic design and design development phases. Available information will be presented to the community at our January 5th town hall meeting, after which the School Board will decide whether to proceed with the next phase of the project. This process ensures that our community has the opportunity to review the information and provide input before any decisions are made.
We have communicated directly with EI Associates about this matter, and they have provided the attached letter of clarification.
